DALLAS — Evan Schrage has been named OUTSET’s new Managing Editor. As the publication approaches its third year of operations and continues to expand its influence within right-of-center media, this new leadership underscores the network’s success.

Evan has been a Contributor at OUTSET since January 2016, regularly writing on various topics, appearing on network podcasts, and covering events such as the Conservative Political Action Conference.

“I am honored to have been chosen as the Managing Editor of OUTSET,” Schrage said. “I want to continue our mission of sharing the ideas that make America great. In addition, I want to continue to grow the OUTSET brand as a place where readers can expect quality writing and thought-provoking commentary on the issues that matter.”

OUTSET’s Founder and Editor-in-Chief, Stephen Perkins, will continue to oversee the editorial wing’s direction, while primarily setting his sights on the network’s development and continued growth.

“This is a publication that has empowered so many young conservative leaders, and I want to make sure we continue to do that in the most powerful way possible,” Perkins said. “Evan’s leadership, along with the leadership of everyone on our management team, is going to ensure we are heading in the right direction.”

Serving alongside Evan and Stephen on the management team is Danielle Butcher, who oversees the network’s marketing and development, and Caleb Franz, who directs OUTSET’s growing podcast network.
