The FBI Is Reopening Their Investigation into Hillary Clinton’s Emails

The FBI is reopening their investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s emails after coming into possession of new emails, according to a letter from FBI Director James Comey to several congressional committees.

“In connection with an unrelated case, the FBI has learned of the existence of emails that appear to be pertinent to the investigation,” the letter read. “the FBI should take appropriate investigative steps designed to allow investigators to review these emails to determine whether they contain classified information.”

Comey also noted that the significance of the new information cannot yet be determined, nor could he predict how long the additional investigation would take.
