WATCH: We Spoke with Trump Supporters and Protestors at His Pensacola Rally

This past Friday, September 9th, I went to the Donald Trump rally in Pensacola to talk with Trump supporters and event protestors about their favored candidates.

With roughly 11,000 attendees (drastically fewer than the Trump campaign claimed), the rally was a stark contrast from the January rally in the same city in which Trump was still in a heated primary, and continually made unprofessional statements seemingly in an attempt to receive more air time. With minimal protestor interruptions, the crowd was civil, supportive, and passionate about their party nominee.

Overall, the rally ran smoothly, with both supporters and protestors (who remained outside of the Pensacola Bay Center) remaining friendly and professional.

We were able to speak with a few Donald Trump voters about recent headlines ask them why they support Trump:

We were also able to talk with a few Hillary Clinton supporters who stood outside the rally with campaign signs, shirts, and banners badgering the attendees with Democratic talking points and chants in support of the Democratic nominee.

When asked about Hillary’s recent email scandal and other leading issues, here is what they had to say:

Trump was introduced by former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani, who fired up the crowd. With this being my first Donald Trump event, I was definitely impressed with the civility of both his supporters and opponents.

Trump is currently leading Clinton in recent polling, but with only under 60 days until election day the results remain seemingly unpredictable.
