Report: Ferguson Officer Darren Wilson Beaten Nearly Unconscious Before Shooting Michael Brown

According to a new report from Fox News, Ferguson, Missouri police officer Darren Wilson, who fatally shot Michael Brown, was beaten nearly unconscious and suffered an orbital (eye socket) fracture before firing at 18-year-old.

Fox’s inside source claims “The Assistant (Police) Chief took him to the hospital, his face all swollen on one side… He was beaten very severely.”

This news comes after violent protests over Brown’s death has shaken up the small Missouri town, causing Governor Jay Nixon to declare a state of emergency, deploy the state National Guard, and put in place a curfew.

Medical examiners confirmed Monday that Brown was shot six times in both his head and his arms. All but one of the headshot wounds were survivable.
